La leyenda de la llorona:

Es quizás una de las leyendas que mas rápido llegó al resto del mundo. La leyenda de la Llorona nace donde se fundó la ciudad de México, lo que hoy conocemos todos como DF, o Distrito Federal 

Se dice que existió una mujer indígena que tenía un romance con un caballero español. Fruto de esta pasión, nacieron tres niños, que la madre atendía siempre en forma devota. Cuando la joven comienza a pedir que la relación sea formalizada, el caballero la esquivaba, quizás por temor al que dirán. Dicho y hecho, un tiempo después, el hombre dejó a la joven y se casó con una dama española de alta sociedad. Cuando la mujer se enteró, dolida y totalmente desesperada, asesinó a sus tres hijos ahogándolos en un río. Luego se suicida por que claro, no soporta la culpa.

Desde ese día, se escucha el lamento lleno de dolor de la joven en el río donde esto ocurrió. Luego de que México fuera establecido, comenzó un toque de queda a las once de la noche y nadie podía salir. Es desde entonces que dicen escuchar un lamento cerca de la plaza mayor, y que al asomarse por las ventanas para ver quien llamaba a sus hijos de forma desesperada, veían una mujer vestida enteramente de blanco, delgada y que se esfumaba en el lago de Texcoco.

The legend of La Llorona

It is perhaps one of the legends that came faster to the world . La Llorona legend born in Mexico City where they founded what is now known all as DF , or Distrito Federal .

It is said that there was an Indian woman who had an affair with a Spanish gentleman. The result of this passion, three children were born , the mother always attending devoutly . When she begins to ask that the relationship is formalized , the gentleman dodged , perhaps for fear they will say. Said and done, a while later, the man left the young and married a Spanish lady of high society. When she found out, hurt and totally desperate , murdered his three children by drowning them in a river. Then himself because of course, does not support the fault.

Since that day, the cry full of pain Young in the river where this happened is heard. After Mexico was established , she began a curfew at eleven at night and no one could leave . It is since then that claim to hear a lament near the main square , and seeing through the windows to see who called his children desperately , saw a woman dressed all in white , thin and vanished in Lake Texcoco .
